Collection: To be...Or not to be

A Rare Studio Offering

As an artist, growth happens in layers. We learn more about our voice, the way we see, and how we want to tell the stories placed on our hearts.

These five paintings are some of the few remaining works from my earlier Songs of Creation collection, inspired by the creation story in Genesis.

They also hold a piece of my own story.

Many of them began on my grandma's dining room table. I could paint there for hours while she watched, told me stories about her life, and occasionally fussed when I decided something wasn't quite good enough. A couple of times, I even woke to find a note she'd left beside a painting telling me not to touch it…it was finished.

These paintings have remained with me as my work has grown and changed. And now I've reached a bit of a to be…or not to be moment with them.

For a short time, I'm opening this small collection at a rare studio offering price—something I don't normally do with my original artwork.

Each painting has one more opportunity to find a home exactly as it is.

Those that don't may return to my easel, where I'll pick up my brush and allow them to become something new.

Either way, their story continues.
