And God Saw It Was Good is one of only a handful of original paintings remaining from my Songs of Creation collection...an earlier body of work inspired by the creation story in Genesis.

It also comes from a season of my life that has become especially precious to me.

Many of these paintings began on my grandma's dining room table. I would sit there and paint for hours while she watched, told me stories about her life, and occasionally fussed at me when I decided something I'd painted wasn't quite good enough.

Years later, these few remaining works have stayed with me as my art has continued to grow and my voice has changed.

For a short time, I'm offering them in their original form as part of To Be… or Not to Be: A Rare Studio Offering.

Those that find homes will leave as the paintings they have been all these years. Those that remain may eventually return to my easel, where I'll allow them to become something new.

A little piece of Songs of Creation...and of the journey that helped shape the artist I am today.
