The Maverick Studio System was born from years of creating, exhibiting, and learning firsthand what artists need from their displays.

After searching for a solution that balanced beauty, flexibility, and function, we found ourselves designing and refining one of our own. What began as a need in my own studio evolved into a patent-pending system designed to help artists display their work with confidence and ease.

Created by Will and Renee Smith, every Maverick Studio System reflects the same care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that we bring to our own creative work. It was built to support the artwork, simplify the process, and help artists present their work beautifully.

Each Maverick Studio System is built to order and crafted with care.

Launch Pricing: $595

Launch pricing of $595 is available for the first 10 systems reserved or through July 31, 2026, whichever comes first. Beginning August 1, the Maverick Classic will be $795.

Reservation deposits received during the introductory launch pricing period lock in the current Maverick purchase price. The remaining balance will be based on the price in effect on the date your reservation was placed, provided the balance is paid according to the reservation terms.

Will Maverick fit in my vehicle?
When folded, the Maverick Classic measures approximately 5.6 feet long and is designed to fit in most pickup truck beds and many SUVs.

How much does Maverick weigh?
The oak Maverick Classic weighs approximately 10 pounds. Individual shelves weigh approximately 2 to 3 pounds each. Weight may vary depending on wood species and configuration.

Does it require assembly?
No. Maverick arrives ready to use. Simply unfold it, position your shelves, and begin displaying your artwork.

Does it fold flat for transport?
Yes. Maverick folds flat for easy transport and storage.

What is the purpose of the strap?
A cotton securing strap helps keep Maverick closed during transport and helps prevent accidental folding while the system is in use.

Can it be used for painting as well as displaying artwork?
Yes. Maverick was designed to function as both a display system and a working easel, making it ideal for studios, workshops, live painting events, and art shows.

What types of artwork can it hold?
Maverick accommodates a variety of canvas, framed artwork, panels, and display items. Adjustable shelves allow you to customize the setup for different sizes and collections.

Can I display more than one piece of artwork on a Maverick?
Yes. One of Maverick's unique advantages is the ability to display multiple pieces of artwork on a single system using adjustable shelves, helping artists maximize their display space.

Can Maverick be used outdoors?
Maverick performs well on level surfaces commonly found at art shows, galleries, studios, sidewalks, and paved event spaces. As with any display system, extra care should be taken on uneven ground or in high winds.

Is the design protected?
The Maverick Studio System is currently patent pending.

Are these kept in stock?
No. Each Maverick is built to order.
