At Rainy Day Vintage by Renee, every piece is created with intention—whether it’s a hand-painted canvas, a reimagined furniture heirloom, or a kit meant to help you create something of your own. I take great care to ensure your order arrives safely and beautifully, but due to the nature of handcrafted and original work, please read the policies below carefully before purchasing.


SHIPPING – Original Art & Small Items

  • Processing Time
    Original artwork and smaller items ship within 5–7 business days unless otherwise noted. Custom or commissioned pieces may require additional time and will be discussed individually.

  • Shipping Carriers
    I ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the item and destination. Tracking will be provided once your order ships.

  • Packaging
    Each item is packaged securely to prevent damage in transit, using professional materials and protective layers.

  • Domestic Shipping Only
    At this time, I only ship within the continental United States. If you’re outside the U.S., feel free to reach out—we can talk through possible options.


SHIPPING – Large Canvas Art & Furniture

Some pieces need a little extra care. For large-scale artwork or furniture, I arrange delivery through a trusted, white-glove art and furniture transporter who specializes in handling handcrafted work.

  • Delivery Timeline
    Because of high demand and route scheduling, delivery may take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks after purchase. If you need a piece by a specific date, please contact me prior to checkout.

  • Delivery Method
    Delivery is typically to curb or garage. If help is available, the driver may assist in bringing your piece inside—at his discretion. Please plan to have help on-site for larger items.

  • Shipping Costs
    Shipping is calculated based on distance from Missouri and is included or shown at checkout unless otherwise stated. Additional fees may apply for locations like New York City or more remote areas. Please contact me to confirm your final quote.

  • Inspection Required at Delivery
    Please inspect your piece while the driver is present. If any damage has occurred, take clear photos of the item and packaging before he leaves and notify me within 3 days. I am not responsible for damage reported after delivery is complete.

  • Alternate Shipping Methods
    If you'd prefer to use your own delivery provider or arrange local pickup, I’m happy to accommodate—but all coordination, cost, and liability will be your responsibility.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

  • Original Artwork & Furniture
    All original art and reimagined furniture pieces are final sale. These one-of-a-kind works are created with layers of meaning and creative time, and I do not accept returns or exchanges.

  • Art Kits, Prints & Supplies
    Returns are only accepted if your item arrives damaged or defective. If this happens, please contact me within 3 business days of delivery with clear photos, and I’ll do my best to make it right—either through replacement or store credit, depending on the situation.

  • Color Disclaimer
    Due to differences in screens, lighting, and monitors, colors may vary slightly from what you see online. Please reach out if you need additional photos before purchasing.

  • Imperfections & Character
    Furniture and vintage materials are intentionally full of story and may include natural wear, texture, or character. These are not flaws—they’re part of the charm.
