This is the one that started it all.

Before I had a name for the series… before I knew what it would become… I painted this piece. Quiet, moody, and soft around the edges, it became the turning point—the moment I realized I didn’t have to throw a painting away just because it didn’t speak yet. I could listen. I could layer. I could let it become.

That’s what this piece did.
And that’s what Undone and Made New became.

This original 12x36 landscape holds space for stillness and surrender. Mist rises in the background, a golden light breaks softly through the clouds, and the reflections beneath it all shimmer like the past held gently in grace. There’s no boat in this one. No defined shore. Just a hush. A becoming. A gentle invitation to begin again.
