Welcome to RDV Printing
Whether you're preparing for an upcoming art show, restocking your inventory, or creating prints for collectors, I'm honored to help bring your artwork to life.
RDV Printing is the fine art printing service of Rainy Day Vintage. As artists ourselves, we understand how important it is that your reproductions reflect the beauty of your original work.
Every print is produced in our studio using archival pigment inks and premium fine art papers. Before anything is printed, each new image is individually prepared to ensure proper sizing, borders, trim, and the best possible reproduction of your artwork.
My goal is simple: to provide archival-quality prints you'll be proud to sign and sell.

RDV Printing FAQs
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Simply contact RDV Printing with the print sizes and quantities you'd like. I'll answer any questions you have and send you a secure upload link to get started.
How do I upload my artwork?
After we discuss your order, you'll receive a secure upload link where you can send your artwork. This link can also be used for future orders, making reordering quick and easy.
How long does printing take?
Production time varies depending on the size of your order and current workload. I'll provide an estimated turnaround time when your order is placed.
Is there a minimum order?
Art prints may be ordered individually. Greeting cards and folded cards have minimum order quantities based on the product selected.
Artwork
What file types do you accept?
JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and PSD files are accepted. If you're using a newer iPhone, be sure your camera is set to Most Compatible to avoid HEIC files.
Can I photograph my artwork with my phone?
Absolutely. Today's phones produce excellent images when used in good lighting. Natural indirect light works well, and I'll gladly offer suggestions if you're unsure about your photos.
How do I know if my image quality is good enough?
If I have concerns about the quality of your image, I'll contact you before printing. My goal is to help you create the best reproduction possible, never to print something you're unhappy with.
Will you edit my artwork?
Minor adjustments such as sizing, DPI, and preparing files for printing are included as needed. I do not alter or retouch the artwork itself without discussing it with you first.
Printing
What print sizes do you offer?
RDV Printing offers a variety of popular print sizes from 8×8 through 24×36, along with square formats and greeting cards. If you need a custom size, just ask.
What paper do you print on?
Every print is produced using premium archival fine art papers and archival pigment inks selected for exceptional color, detail, and longevity. If you're unsure which paper is best for your artwork, I'm happy to help you choose.
What are Giclée prints?
A Giclée print is a museum-quality fine art reproduction created using archival pigment inks and acid-free fine art paper. When properly cared for, Giclée prints are designed to provide beautiful color and long-lasting durability.
Can I order borderless prints?
Yes. Keep in mind that borderless printing may require a slight crop around the edges to allow for trimming.
Artwork Preparation
What is an Artwork Preparation Fee?
Every new image is individually prepared before printing. This includes creating the production template, preparing borders, verifying trim and placement, checking print proportions, and creating a production-ready print file.
Why is there a preparation fee for additional sizes?
Each print size requires its own production file. Even when using the same artwork, every size must be individually prepared to ensure proper borders, proportions, and print quality.
Policies
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. Once production has begun, cancellations and refunds are no longer available.
Do you scan original artwork?
At this time, RDV Printing does not offer artwork scanning. All artwork must be submitted digitally through the upload link provided after ordering.
Why should I choose RDV Printing?
Because your artwork deserves more than an automated upload. At RDV Printing, every order is personally reviewed and every new image is individually prepared before printing. As artists ourselves, we understand how important it is that your reproductions accurately reflect your original work.
